Welcome to the portfolio of Casey Jacobson. I am currently a senior at Capital High School in Helena , MT. My hobbies include fishing the backwaters of the mighty Missouri River , skiing snow topped peaks, and playing soccer. I am also an active member of National Honors Society and am a member of the Rotary Club. Over the course of the past few months, my writing has become one of great development and change. After writing one paper, and then another, and then another, it became apparent to me the many different styles of writing. I discovered that there is no one set style that one must write by. Each essay can be combined with many different factors that shape and move the reader. Finding this thought caused me to change my own writing style from being one set style to a combination of different techniques. Of all the different genres of essay writing, my strong point would be writing descriptive and process papers. Being a very pattern filled individual looking for formulas and facts, my writing style is stronger on the points of true sequences. It comes easier to me to take a fact and turn it into an image rather than taking a thought and turning it into a picture. On my website, you will be able to see all of my works and how my style changed from one piece to the next. You will also be able to see that my writing is better when it is based from fact.
