Scholarship Writing 2

It was graduation day when I heard them call my name, “Casey Jacobson, valedictorian”. Out of all my academic achievements, the most memorable was that of completing my senior year knowing I had received nothing less than perfection. I had done all that I could to be the best. When my parents came up to me and said, “we are so proud of you son,” the feeling within me was one of complete success. Having my own self filled with completion as well as my parents filled with joy gave a vibe of something that would never be forgotten. I think back to that moment almost everyday and wonder if it is possible to do a second time. I strongly believe I am capable of pursuing complete perfection a second time and will continue to strive in that direction. The direction of success is one that gives a person a feeling of motivation. That moment when I had guaranteed myself a pattern of overall perfection gave me an everlasting motivation to again be the best.
